Since our campaign wraps up this week, and it’s likely we are not going to meet our funding goal, we couldn’t be more thankful for this experience and the ability to get our product out in front of the world. We are most appreciative for all the love and support we’ve gotten from our friends, family, complete strangers (now customers!) and many fellow ganjapreneurs as we continue our journey!
Danielle and I, as well as our sales guru Chris just spent a long weekend at the NECANN Convention in Boston where we were able to get the APT in front of 3000+ growers, vendors and potential investors. What an amazing event of like-minded individuals and companies all looking to make their way in this new industry that we are all a part of creating. The entire crew that put on the event did an outstanding job, and the event seemed to go off without a hitch, at least for us!
Throughout the entire weekend, we received great reviews for our product, lots of interest from retailers and distributors, and the contact information for a few investors. We also received the highest support possible – someone ordered an early bird set of the Atlas Plant Trainer, on site (THANK YOU)! If we had Atlas Plant Trainer sets on site, I’m sure we would have easily sold 100 sets, and probably more. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results of the weekend.
Even though we won’t be reaching our funding goal on Indiegogo, we wanted to let everyone know that we are committed to bringing the Atlas Plant Trainer to market, and have set a goal of October 2017 to have product in your hands and stores across the country. In conjunction with this goal, we have also placed a deposit for one of the largest cannabis conventions in the United States – the MJBizCon in Las Vegas November 15-17. Here there will be over 300 vendors on site and have been told that this is one of the best “buying” events in the country. In order for this to make sense for us, we MUST have product in hand in order to sell at the show.
Next up for us: We are actively seeking a bit of investment to help make our dreams a reality! We need to buy injection molds for our pieces, and a down payment for our first order. As soon as we can secure that, we are good to go and can the wheels in motion for other items such as packaging and shipping.
Until then, we plan to continue helping others learn to grow, grow biggest, and move our businesses forward. We also definitely continue to blog about our grows, our growth, and our companies growth, and you’ll probably even see us on some YouTube videos or Facebook live moments.
